You can install today by loading the extension folder unpacked in your browser. Six steps, two minutes. Works in any Chromium browser.

01Unzip
Double-click the file. You’ll get a folder named taresense-extension.
02Open your browser's extensions page
Paste this in the address bar:
chrome://extensions

Brave: brave://extensions · Edge: edge://extensions · Arc: same as Chrome.

03Turn on Developer mode
Top-right corner of that page. Toggle the switch on.
04Click "Load unpacked"
Then pick the unzipped taresense-extension folder.
05Pin it
Click the puzzle-piece icon in your toolbar, find Taresense, hit the pin so its action shows up next to your address bar.
06Use it
Sign in to your Taresense account once, then click the pinned icon on any page. The extension finds your account automatically — no setup.
Privacy

The extension only reads a page when you click Scan. It sends the current URL, the page title, and a snapshot of the rendered HTML (scripts stripped, capped at 2 MB) to your Taresense account — nothing else. No tracking, no telemetry, no third parties.
