What Taresense is
Taresense is a software platform that lets independent restaurants run their website, online ordering, customer CRM, menu management, reservations, and invoicing from one place. By signing up you agree to these Terms.
We are not a payment processor, and we do not hold or handle restaurant funds. Payments from diners flow directly from Stripe to the restaurant’s connected bank account.
Your account
You must be 18 years old or older and have authority to bind the restaurant you sign up to manage. You’re responsible for keeping your password secure, for what your team does under your account, and for the accuracy of the content you publish on your storefront.
Pricing and trial
Every account starts on a 14-day free trial with full access to the platform. After the trial, ongoing access requires a paid plan (Starter, Growth, or Scale) — current pricing is published on the home page. Subscriptions are processed through Stripe and renew monthly until you cancel from Account → Manage billing.
We do not take a fee on the orders your customers place through your storefront. Taresense doesn’t process customer payments — diners pay you in person at pickup or on delivery. The only money that flows between us is your monthly subscription.
Cancel any time. We don’t prorate the current month, but you keep access through the end of the period you’ve already paid for.
Your content, your customers
Everything you publish on your storefront — menu, hero, photos, about copy, hours, contact details — belongs to you. You grant us a non-exclusive license to host, render, and serve it on your behalf for as long as your account is active. We never use your content to train models or sell to third parties.
The customers who order from your storefront are your customers. We act as a data processor on your behalf — we don’t market to them, sell their information, or use it to seed competing tenants. Your customer list is exportable from the dashboard at any time.
Customer payments & fulfillment
Taresense doesn’t process customer payments. When a diner places an order on your storefront, they pay you directly — cash or card in person at pickup or on delivery. We don’t see, store, transmit, or hold any of those funds. Refunds and disputes are between you and your customer.
You agree to honor orders placed through your storefront in a timely manner. Persistent failure to fulfill (e.g., taking orders without preparing them) may result in suspension to protect diners.
Acceptable use
You agree to use Taresense only for legitimate restaurant operations. You will not:
- publish content that infringes someone else’s rights, defames a person, or violates the law;
- claim press, reviews, or awards you don’t actually have;
- collect payments for goods or services you can’t deliver;
- use the platform to spam or scrape;
- circumvent our security or rate limits.
We may suspend an account that violates this section.
Service availability
We aim for high uptime but we don’t guarantee uninterrupted service. If the platform is down, customers can’t order from your storefront during that window. We don’t offer financial credits for downtime today; that may change as we mature.
Termination
You can cancel any time from Account → Manage billing. We’ll keep your data accessible for 60 days afterwards in case you want to re-import. Then we delete it.
We can suspend or close accounts that violate these Terms with notice where reasonable, and immediately if a continuing violation puts diners or other tenants at risk.
No warranty
The service is provided as-is. We do our best, but we don’t guarantee the platform is fit for any particular purpose, or that every order will succeed, or that no bug will affect you on a Friday night.
Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of your use of Taresense is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We’re not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, lost profits, or lost goodwill.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA. Any dispute that survives good-faith email is heard in the state or federal courts located in Delaware.
